ISLAMABAD - Pakistan Tennis Federation (PTF) patron Senator Syed Dilawar Abbas lauded the federation for establishing a coaching camp at POF Wah Complex.

Talking to The Nation, Dilawar, who is also vice president (South) and Board Member of Asian Tennis Federation (ATF), appreciated the help and support of Asian Tennis Federation ATF president Anil Khanna, who sanctioned the training camp and especially handed over assignment to ATF coach Khansaman Pracharapol for the training camp on his special request. “I along with PTF president Salim Saifullah Khan had a detailed meeting with the ATF president in London during Wimbledon and we requested him to allocate a camp for our juniors which he very gratefully acknowledged,” he added.

Dilawar appreciated the PTF chief’s keen interest in development of the game for both junior and senior players through such camp and their participation in the tournaments. He also confirmed the allocation of two Asian Juniors 14 & Under tournaments to Pakistan, which would be played in Islamabad and Lahore.
