KARACHI (Staff Reporter): The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at $18,678.8 million on 07 August 2015. The break-up of the foreign reserves, foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan stood at $13,627.8 million, net foreign reserves held by banks are $5,051.0 million, thus the total liquid foreign reserves of the country stood at $18,678.8 million. During the week ending 07 August 2015, SBP’s Liquid FX Reserves decreased by $139 million to $13,628 million, compared to $13,767 million in the previous week.

During the week, SBP made payments of $137 million on account of External debt servicing and other official payments.
