ISLAMABAD  -  Prime Minister-designate Imran Khan has accepted the invitation of a visit of Suadi Arabia and he would soon visit the key Islamic country after taking oath of his office.

Similarly, Saudi King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud also accepted the invitation of prime minister-in waiting for a visit to Pakistan. The Foreign Offices of the both the countries would make necessary arrangement for both the visits.

PTI Vice-Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi shared this information with reporters at Bani Gala and said that both sides accepted the invitations of visits of each other’s countries in telephonic conversation. Shah Salman Bin Abdul Aziz telephoned Imran Khan and congratulated him over his party’s victory in July 25 election, he said.

Qureshi said that Saudi king showed confidence over the leadership of Imran Khan and said Saudi Arabia saw with great respect over the trust made by people of Pakistan in Imran Khan’s party.

Imran Khan in his conversation stressed that the people to people contacts between the two countries were very old, deep-rooted and both countries have strategic partnership. He said that Saudi Arabia had always helped Pakistan in difficult times as well as had always given it support at international forums.

The rulers of Saudi Arabia were the custodians of the holy mosques and protection of these mosques was part of our faith, Qureshi said. He said that Saudi King had assured Imran Khan that his country would help Pakistan open-hearted.
