The present government, its functionaries and its statements remind me of famous proverbs like, "many tongues and as many mouths" and "two of a trade seldom agree". Our most dutiful Minister of Interior says that India is involved in terrorism in Pakistan. Our learned Minister of Foreign Affairs, though, is rather sure that "we have no evidence of Indian involvement". Our Prime Minister, on the other hand, is sure that "We'll present proofs of the Indian involvement only at the proper forum". If you need more confusion, the 'shades-on-forever' Governor Punjab completely denies any involvement of India. Last, but not least, is our junior Minister of Foreign Affairs who has his 'own opinion on the issue'. The people, thus, are at a loss who in to believe. -SHUJAAT KAZIMI, Gujrat, December 12.
