PAKISTANI and Indian border guards on Sunday exchanged gunfire in Kashmir, reported Press Trust of India. The gunbattle erupted in Ramgarh sector along the border early in the day, according to Indian Border Security Force (BSF) sources. The Pakistanis fired at Ballad Post on the Indian side, the sources informed. The BSF, which mans the 198-km-long border in Jammu region, retaliated. The exchange of fire lasted for more than 15 minutes, the sources disclosed. The incident came a day after Indian Home Secretary GK Pillai visited the international border and called for 'extra vigilance on Indias borders.
