MUZAFFARABAD: The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Prime Minister Abdul Majeed has welcomed the recent statement of Advisor to Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz that no dialogue process will take place with India without addressing the issue of Jammu and Kashmir.

While talking to various delegations today he said that unequivocal stand of Pakistan government on Kashmir has not only boosted the moral of Kashmiri people but has given a new impetus to the freedom struggle.

He said that Foreign Advisor’s statement would not only pressurize India but also push international community to persuade the neighboring country to settle the Kashmir issue in accordance with UN Security Council’s relevant resolution.

AJK Premier said that India has been committing gross human rights violations in occupied valley to suppress the indigenous Kashmir movements. He strongly condemned the illegal detention of Hurriyat leaders and use of brutal force against innocent Kashmiris.

Majeed said that Pakistan has been a peace loving nation and desires peaceful settlement of Kashmir dispute through meaningful dialogue with India.
