They announced their split last week after three years of marriage. And Vogue Williams, 29, has now discussed her separation from Brian McFadden, 35, for the first time, admitting the former couple has had a ‘really tough week’ in the wake of revealing the sad news to their fans. In spite of having a difficult time of late, the Irish model admitted her family and friends have been a pillar of strength, and vowed to ‘remain friends’ with her estranged husband.  Writing her column for the Sunday World newspaper, Vogue said: ‘This has been a really tough week for Brian and I. The support we’ve been getting from people online has been amazing. ‘Seeing everyone’s kind words has really made a difference in this hard time. We both have great families and friends that are being really supportive too. I don’t want to say too much on the subject, but I will say that we really do remain friends and will always be in each others’ lives.’ Vogue and Brian announced they were going their separate ways last week when they posted identical statements on their respective Twitter and Instagram pages.  But the pair - who had been married since 2012 - set tongues wagging on Thursday when Brian was spotted picking Vogue up from the ITV summer party in London’s Notting Hill.  Brian wrote: ‘It is with sadness that Vogue and I have made the tough decision to go our separate ways. ‘We will always care greatly about each other, remain friends and wish each other all the very best for the future.

‘We have nothing else to say on the subject and we would like to thank our friends and family for their support during this difficult period. Brian x.’
