OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE: Iranian Consul General, Muhammad Hussain Bani Asadi has said there is a vast scope of cooperation in livestock sector in Punjab and the project of setting up a modern slaughter house in the provincial metropolis with the cooperation of Iran is being speedily implemented. He expressed these views during a meeting with central PML-N leader, Muhammad Mehdi on Monday. Asadi and Mehdi discussed issues relating to bilateral relations and cooperation in different sectors in the meeting. Iranian Consul General said that PML-N leadership has a dynamic agenda and way of action to achieve the goals of developed Pakistan with high moral values. He said that Nawaz Sharif was a remarkable personality in the Islamic world. Mehdi said that there were deep rooted relations between Pakistan and Iran and it was the need of the hour to transform these ties into economic and trade cooperation and launch such joint ventures, which would be of mutual benefit.
