KHANEWAL - The Allama Iqbal Open University administration continued its tradition of poor arrangements in MA/M.ED examination centres during the ongoing sessions like previous ones. The students of the AIOU and their parents/guardians demanded that AIOU Vice-Chancellor Dr Nazir Ahmed Sangi and Deputy Director Multan Qaiser Abbas Kazmi should take notice of poor arrangements in the examination centres made in Government MC high School Khanewal and Government Model High School. They alleged that the AIOU was not facilitating the students during examinations nor providing cool potable water in the hot weather when temperature is 45 degree Celsius. They added that the university administration had not made substituted arrangements of electricity during loadshedding hours in the examination centres. They also complained against inappropriate sitting arrangements there, adding that extra answering sheets were not being provided by the exam superintendents, thereby creating problems for the students regarding paper attemptation as they cannot answer to all the five questions. They also said that papers start late and also end late as well. Against the mismanagement, they urged the VC to take strict disciplinary action against the examination department of the AIOU to avoid repletion of such dereliction.
