ISLAMABAD - The in-camera joint parliament session scheduled for Monday was adjourned till today (Tuesday) due to sad demise of PML (Q) MNA, Mir Nasrullah Khan Bijarani who passed away on Monday due to cardiac arrest. The joint session began with the recitation of Holy Quran and then Fateh Khawani was held for the departed soul. NA Speaker Dr Fehmida Mirza presided over the session but later adjourned it till Tuesday (today). Federal Minister for Information  Sherry Rehman was to present a policy statement on the national security and terrorism on Monday. The joint session of the National Assembly and Senate began last Wednesday with an in-camera briefing by DG ISI Lt Gen Ahmad Shuja Pasha on the military operations against the Taliban and the overall security scenario. This was followed by a question-answer session by top security officials.
