Karachi University is one of the oldest universities of Pakistan and ranked among the top, in terms of international standards, according to HEC. This university provides a bus point services to its students coming from all areas of this large city, mostly from middle class. The university boasts around 80,000 students (Wikipedia) and having more than 52 departments. The university has around 34 buses out of which only 27 or 28 are working. Most of the working buses are worn-out. Government should help get new busses to ensure the safety of the students. There is need to increase the availability of transport as well. This will bring fresh blood to the university and solve commuting problems.
