MIRPURKHAS - Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah said that PPP’s October 18 public meeting in Karachi would be historic, giving a start to massive politics of party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari.

Talking to media during the certificates distribution ceremony of Bibi Benazir Shaheed Youth Development Programme (BBSYDP) here on Monday, the CM said that exercise has been completed to facilitate more people in the public meeting, and added, “We would also apprise the efficiency of PPP’s Sindh government in the public meeting during the last six years.” He said that Bilawal wanted to bring forward the mission of his mother Shaheed Benazir Bhutto.  He said the public meeting will recall the historical welcome of Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on October 18 in past in which 155 PPP workers lost their lives and over 500 injured. “The PPP is still a famous political party and we have given services to the masses during the PPP tenure.”

Qaim said that PPP co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari had launched Shaheed Benazir Income Support Programme for financial help of the poor women in the country.

Later, the chief minister distributed the certificates among the girls and boys who became successful candidates of BBSYDP Mirpurkhas.
