Eid-ul-Azha, is Muslim’ holy day, in which animals are sacrificed in memory of the sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim’s son Ismail, as an act of submission to Allah’s command. Every year Pakistan faces a problem on the streets which are covered with the remains of this holy sacrifice. Our Waste Management formulates no policy to deal with it. Due to non availability of waste disposal mechanism, this event becomes a health hazard and causes inconvenience. The district government must take measures to dump the waste otherwise it would create health hazards.
