OUR STAFF REPORTER LAHORE - Lahore City Cricket Association (LCCA) has lifted ban on SPM Club Cricket tournament in the larger interest of club cricket. The ban was imposed by the LCCA higher authorities a few days ago as the organisers of the league violated the rules and regulations of the association by including five to six guest players in a respective side, as under the rules only two such player can be included in a side. The matter was resolved here on Tuesday at a meeting held between LCCA President Kh Nadeem Ahmed and SPM Chief Aizad Hussain Sayed, a LCCA spokesman said. The ban has been lifted after the organisers sought a written apology from the LCCA and promised to obey its rules and regulations, he added.
