MULTAN - The Multan Corps on Tuesday dispatched three truckloads of relief goods to Mohmand Agency for the internally displaced people of Fata. It was the second consignment sent by the Multan Corps. Talking to the journalists on the occasion, Brig Liaqat Ali said that the Multan Garrison had sent aid goods worth Rs2.3 million for the support 550 families so far. He said that the residents of Fata rendered tremendous sacrifices and it was the duty of every Pakistani to support them as they were forced to live in camps. He declared that the campaign would continue and a third consignment would soon be sent. He lauded the role of philanthropists in aid collection drive and hoped that they would continue to contribute for this noble cause.
