Rangers rounded up at least 6 suspects during search operation in Sohrab Goth, Karachi on Wednesday morning. The operation was launched after the Rangers was tipped off that some terrorists were hiding in the area. According to media reports, rangers officials surrounded Al Asif Square and other nearby buildings early Wednesday and launched hunt for suspects. Several suspected persons were detained and shifted to undisclosed location for questioning. Sophisticated weapons also recovered from their possession. Women commandos also accompanied rangers men in the house-to-house search. The Anti Terrorism Squad of the Rangers is conducting the operation and no assistance of police has been asked. This is the largest operation conducted during recent times in the city.
