Our staff reporter ISLAMABAD - Shotokan Karate School announced to hold second Junior Ski Karate Cup in the last week of September and urged students help to make this tournament successful. Chief Coach and Federal Head Shotokan Karate International Pakistan Sensei Qasim Suleman expressed these views during an impressive belt award and prize distribution ceremony held at Shotokan Karate School (Main Dojo) on late Monday night. Belts, certificates and awards to first sixth positions holder students were given on the occasion. Shakeel Mansoor got first position, followed by Nauroze Khanzada (second), Fatima Waqar (third), Laila Mukhtar (fourth), Khurram Asif (fifth) and Ali Ahmad (sixth). Other successful students were Bashna Emman, Essra, Abubakar, Affan, Akram, Sheharyar Asif, Ahsan Ali, Hajira, Maheen, Imran, Mahad and Ayyan. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Coach and Federal Head Shotokan Karate International Pakistan Sensei Qasim Suleman said: This is the tradition of Shotokan Karate School to promote students skills by awarding them attractive prizes because healthy produces body always produces a healthy mind. He congratulates all the qualified students and urged them to work hard both in sports and their education. Attractive prizes along with certificates will be distributed among the shinning students during the prize distribution ceremony of that event, he concluded.
