LAHORE - Patients Welfare Society has upgraded Gynecology Ward of Lahore General Hospital at Rs15 million.

During visit to newly renovated ward on Sunday, Principal Post Graduate Medical Institute and LGH Prof Khalid Mahmood said the department could be compared with ward of any hospital in developed countries regarding doctors attitude and modern equipment.

Head of Gynecology Department Prof Norin Akmal, Prof Nuzhat Kh, MS Dr Niaz Ahmed and Chairman Paramedics Association Rana Pervez also accompanied him.

Prof Khalid Mahmood said there were sufficient facilities for attendants and staff including neat and clean kitchen, and lavatory after the renovation. He hoped that philanthropists and old PGMI students serving abroad would come forward to bring same change in other wards of the hospital.
