QUETTA : Four oil tankers carrying fuel for a Chinese company were torched in Balochisan on Sunday, reported a private TV channel.

A Levies official, Ghullam Haider told media that militants opened fire on four oil tankers carrying fuel for a Chinese company, operating in the Saindak Copper-Gold project, in Chaghi district of Balochisan.  The militants set all four tankers on fire; however the drivers managed to escape the spot unhurt.

Earlier, militants torched an oil tanker carrying fuel for Chinese company in Mastung district a week ago.

Three containers carrying supplies for United States and NATO troops were also set on fire by the militants on July 8 near Quetta.
