PESHAWAR - Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Health, Information and Public Relations, Shaukat Ali Yousafzai, has said that Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf is committed to bringing about a change in the system in a way to gear all government machinery towards the service of the citizens without any discrimination and a change in the health sector was on the top of their agenda.

Responding to the views of the participants of a meeting of the working group on health department in the province wherein the participants said that in the past good policies had been formulated and announced from time to time but it could not be implemented due to the lack of political will, Yousafzai said that the very purpose of the formation of the PTI was to bring such a change and provide basic amenities of life to the people at their doorsteps. He, therefore, called upon the experts in the field to come forward and put their proposals forward to the government so that the longstanding problems of the masses are resolved and they are provided the best service of health and treatment. He stressed the utilisation of resources in the best interest of the public at large.
