LONDON: Tom Odell pulled out of supporting The Rolling Stones at Hyde Park after he fell seriously ill. The British singer-songwriter was meant to be the warm-up act for the legendary rockers at the British Summer Time festival, a serious chest infection left him unable to perform. A spokesman for the festival said: ‘He is gutted not to be supporting The Rolling Stones but he hopes that everyone has a fantastic day.’ Ireland’s Hudson Taylor took Odell’s place, followed by Jake Bugg.Sir Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Charlie Watts are poised to perform their second show at the venue.–MT
