/Agencies -ATTOCK-The passing-out ceremony of 401 personnel of Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) including was held here at Kamra on Saturday.

The cadets were imparted training by specialized Pak Army personnel and ANF instructors.

Addressing a ceremony, ANF Director General Major Gen Dilawar Shah said that the dazzling efforts of the force have been lauded at international level. He said it is a proud moment for every citizen of the country to be appreciated by prominent leaders.

Maj Gen Shah informed that as many as 31 departments are currently working against drug dealers in the country.

He said that 360 tonnes of narcotics were seized in successful operation by the ANF officers last year. He advised the cadets to perform their duties with honesty and only for the safety of the nation.

Moreover, the ANF DG also expressed his gratitude to Chief of Army Staff Gen Raheel Sharif for providing special facilities for the completion of the course.

The passing-out cadets also demonstrated their capabilities and operational skills during mock exercises.
