FAISALABAD – Two-Day funfair organized by Laboratory Girls High School, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad concluded on Wednesday with colourful cultural programmes in Iqbal Auditorium of the University.

Students presented various skits, dramas and patriotic songs as well as cultural performances. A large number of students and parents attend the closing funfair.  On the occasion, Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan, the Vice Chancellor, was the chief guest of closing ceremony. Addressing the participants Dr Iqrar said that UAF Laboratory School Systems has been upgraded from secondary education to intermediate educational status and Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Faisalabad has also recognised it.

Dr Khan added that highly qualified staff has been recruited in order to obtain maximum benefits of their wisdom for young scholars whereas conducive environment has also been ensured for young students. Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan expressed his concerns over widening gap of girl’s education and urged the parents to send their daughters to educational institutions.
