LAHORE - A special sitting was held to mark the death anniversaries of former IGP Sardar Muhammad Chaudhary and Pakistan Movement worker Ali Mohtashim at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan on Friday.

The sitting was organised by the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust and attended by the workers and officer-bearers of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust and Pakistan Movement Workers Trust. Prayers for the elevation of the souls of both the deceased and for the progress and development of the country were offered.

Meanwhile, an award competition in rhythmically rendering Kalam-i-Iqbal among the students was held at the Aiwan-i-Karkunaan-i-Tehreek-i-Pakistan under the aegis of the Nazaria-i-Pakistan Trust in collaboration with the Pakistan Movement Workers Trust.

A large number of students participated in it. Eminent political leader Begum Mehnaz Rafi exhorted the students to comprehend the poetry of Iqbal and try to act upon the precious advice and message conveyed by it.
