A Jamaat-e-Islami leader condemned the Indian aggression on Line of Control, and said that India had killed innocent people in border villages.

JI Nowshera Ameer Munshi Nazir termed it the worst example of terrorism, saying that it could damage peace in the region. Irresponsible act of Indian government raising alarm bells for prospects of peace and balance of powers in the region, he said. The increasing tension caused by Indian provocative policy is not a good sign as confrontation between two nuclear powers could lead mass destruction, he warned.

He demanded that the government should raise the issue at international level effectively. Mian Ehsanullah said it was pity that the rulers in Islamabad had demonstrated cowardice in the face of ongoing Indian excesses across border instead of giving a benefiting response.
