Karachi- At least four people were killed in violence in Karachi today.

According to police and rescue officials, two ‘kidnappers’ were killed in encounter with police when the law-enforces raided a house to free a two-year-old abducted girl in Korangi Industrial area this morning. Police said the alleged kidnapers were identified as Anwaar-ul-Haq and Bilal Ali, whereas two of their accomplices managed to flee. Two other persons were shot dead in different firing incidents in Orangi Town and Lyari.

A child was injured in a ‘ball bomb explosion’ in Surjani Town. They added that it was a locally-made bomb which exploded in hands of a minor boy.
