Peshawar- At least five people were killed in a suicide blast targeting the Amn Lashkar (peace militia) in a remote area of Khyber Agency bordering Afghanistan, officials say.

According to official, the incident took place in Pir Mela area of Khyber Agency’s Tirah Valley where a suicide bomber blew himself up close to a gathering of anti-Taliban tribal militia.

Sources said two children were also among the victims. Security forces arrived for rescue activities in the village located in remote mountainous area in the tribal agency which is hub of militants loyal to Taliban and Al Qaida.
