I am a tenant living in North Nazimabad and am facing difficulty in the division of my electric bill. My owner lives in a portion and we share the same electric meter. I am forced to pay more as it is equally divided. I live alone and my owner has a family of five. Even after that the bill is divided into half, which is very unfair to me. I have been applied to KESC for a separate electric meter countless times, but now they have a policy of not installing any extra sub meters in one house. Then there should also be a law where the owner has to pay the complete bill or make fare arrangements with the tenants. They fail to understand the problem I am facing because of this unreasonable policy. I request KESC to change their policy and allow me to have a meter of my own.
