LAHORE - Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will enhance further 50 percent enrolment at TEVTA Institutes from next academic year.  Consultation would be initiated with the Industry to train the internees as per requirement of the market.  At present, one lac male and female students are getting technical education and vocational training at TEVTA Institutes across the province of the Punjab. Proper planning would be initiated to enhance the enrolment as per decision.  It was stated by the Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Sheikh while addressing the officers in a meeting here yesterday. He said that TEVTA will introduce new courses in Auto parts manufacturing, web designing, call center business, baking & confectioners, software development and other prominent sectors in accordance with the requirement of Industry across the province of the Punjab.
