The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Monday sought a reply from the Punjab government over steps being taken to control dengue virus till April 26.

LHC Chief Justice Sheikh Azmat Saeed heard the plea pertaining to the measures being taken by the Punjab government to control the dengue virus.

The petitioner’s lawyer stated that the virus is spreading in the city while the Punjab government has not taken any effective step to curb the deadly virus as yet.

Admitting the petition for hearing, the chief justice sought an explanation from Punjab government over the arrangements and steps being taken to curb the virus till April 26.
