OKARA - Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs Manzoor Ahmad Wattoo said the present government believed in supremacy of the Constitution. He added that through the reconciliation policy, the PPP wants to steer the country out of crises. The people talking of the government’s departure were living in fools’ paradise. The PPP, after completing its tenure, would contest the general elections and secure landslide. Talking to the media, he said that the antagonists should come to the court of public and gauge their popularity. To eradicate terrorism, ensure peace and strengthen democratic system, the PPP believed in negotiation and wanted to move forwards along with all the political parties, he added. Mr Wattoo claimed that district Okara was the second Larkana of the PPP. He said that the Pakistani government wanted to solve all the issues with India including the core issue of Jammu and Kashmir. He asked the opposition parties to use their energies for strengthening democracy instead of raising hue and cry. On the occasion, MNA Khuram Jehangir and Aamir Hayat Wattoo were also present.
