KHYBER AGENCY - The political administration after three days of suspension has resumed the drive against unlawful Afghan families residing in Bacha Mena - the Pak-Afghan sharing border Torkham on Friday.

The Khasadar subedar said after restarting the campaign, 50 houses of Afghan illegal residents were demolished and the effectees were asked to go back to their home towns in Afghanistan.

The political administration officer on the condition of anonymity said, the local administration had been directed by the high-ups to strictly follow the repatriation policy regarding the Afghan refugees, and enhance the drive to clear the bordering area from all illegal occupants. It is worth mentioning here that last week, due to law and order situation, the administration had launched operation against unauthorized Afghan families, inhabiting in Bacha Mena Torkham.
