LAHORE On the eve of Milad-un-Nabi (SAW), a grand Milad Conference was held by Tehrik Minhajul Quran which was addressed telephonically from Canada by its chief Dr Tahirul Qadri and participated by noted scholars and Naat Khwans from across the country. It was attended by thousands of people from all over the country. The participants were offered dinner for which one thousand goats were slaughtered. Dr Tahirul Qadri highlighted the significance of the occasion for the promotion of Islamic values and message of love, justice and peace. He said respect and reverence for the person of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) is the part of faith of a Muslim and the blessed month of Rabiul Awal holds special importance for demonstration of this love and respect for the beloved Prophet (PBUH).
