Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Finance Minister Sirajul Haq has said that solution to all problems lies in Islamic system and interest free economy. “Secularism, liberalism and capitalism neither can solve these problems, nor it have any concern with the human welfare.”

Sirajul Haq made the remarks while addressing the concluding ceremony of a convention of Jamiat Tulab-e-Arabia (JTA) Attock here on Friday.  On the occasion, JTA Organiser Mehmood Bashir, Secretary General Abdur Rauf, Deputy General Secretary Fazalur Rehman, Jamaat-e-Islam District Malik Iqbal, Secretary Information Tahir Mehmood and other office bearers were also present.  Sirajul Haq pointed out that teachings of Islam and Sunnah of holy Prophet (SAWW) were the only prescription that could remedied the prevailing situation.

He was of the view that it was a pity that the masses searched solution to problems in western norms, forgetting the fact that all these problems had been caused by the western culture itself.

He argued that Pakistani nation must understand prevailing challenges and rise to them. “We must learn different languages to promote Islam and let the world know how easy the Holy Quran offers solutions to all the problems,” he pointed out. He also criticized the World Bank, saying that the World Bank could not steer out Pakistan from the present financial crisis, adding that only interest free economy would bring real change. He said the KPK Government had introduced Islamic Banking in Swat, Dir, Peshawar and so far attracted 155,000 clients with the deposit of Rs14 billion. Sirajul Haq emphasized upon the young lot to equip themselves with modern knowledge and techniques to face the challenges and emphasized upon them not to close their eyes. He also criticized Bilawal Bhutto and said that recent cultural week celebrated in Mohenjo-Dharo was not the culture of Sindh, saying that Bilawal wanted to promote Sindhi Cultural of which he was unaware.
