Pakistan has formally informed India about the steps taken in response to the international community's demands in connection with Mumbai attacks. Meanwhile, Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani has written a greetings letter to Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. Foreign Secretary Salman Bashir handed over the letter to Indian high commissioner Satyabrata Pal in a meeting in Islamabad. According to a statement, the Foreign Secretary also provided the details of the steps and measures taken by Pakistan government in connection with the Mumbai carnage in response to the calls of international community. The Foreign Secretary told the Indian diplomat that Pakistan government has initiated proper investigation into the Mumbai attacks.
