OUR STAFF REPORTER SARGODHA - The non-bailable arrest warrants of 150 police officials including 10 SHOs have been issued by the different courts of Sargodha here on Friday. According to the judicial sources, summons had been sent repeatedly to the police officials but they could not appear before the courts. Later, the courts have to issue the warrants for these police officials. Separately, the Additional District and Sessions Judge Malik Shabbir Hussain Awan awarded 40 years imprisonment to a rapist while two persons were acquitted on doubt. The plaintiff Robina Iqbal 25 a resident of village 34/NB submitted an accusation in the court that Khalid, Sarfraz and Matloob Hussain had abducted her and raped her. So the court ordered one accused Khalid 40 years jailed while other two got the benefit of doubt and released by the court. 60 Held: The District Police held 60 accused persons during the two days crack down on the illegal gas cylinder re-filling and fireworks dealers and 57 shops have been sealed throughout the district. The action has been taken in the light of the imposition of the Section-144 by the district administration. Moreover, the city police apprehended seven persons including five women from a brothel which was situated in congested area adjacent with the general bus stand in the remits of Satellite Town police. As per detail, on the direction of DPO Dr Muhammad Rizwan during the operation against anti-social elements the police conducted a raid and arrested seven accused from brothel namely Hussan Pari, Kiran, Nargas, Khalida, Shakila, Muhammad Amir and Muhammad Ibrahim in a compromising position. The police have registered a case. A speeding car collided with the Super Express at no manned level crossing near a village Chak Saida with the limits of the Miani Police. All passengers including car driver were unhurt. Divisional Transport Officer Railway Umer Riaz reported the police that a neglected driven car bearing struck off the locomotive of 34-Down Super Express train when the car driver tried to cross the railway track. The police have registered a case against the unknown driver.
