LONDON (AFP) - A Briton Tuesday won a record 185 million euros in the Euro Millions lottery, lottery operator Camelot announced. The previous record holder was also a player from Britain who won 129 million euros ($181 million) in October 2010. The Euro Millions lottery, launched in 2004, is now played by nine countries across western Europe: Austria, Belgium, Britain, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. A spokesman for Britain's National Lottery said: "This is amazing news. We are absolutely delighted that a UK ticket holder has scooped the entire 185 million euro jackpot.
