Despite police raids in different areas since the escape of Anjum Aqeel, MNA of Pakistan Mulsim League-Nawaz (PML-N), his hideout has not been traced yet but 32 suspected involved in helping PML-N lawmakers have been apprehended, a private TV reported Saturday. As per details, Police presented suspects before the anti-terrorism court (ATC). Eleven men have been approved for physical remand while 14 have been sent to Adhyala Jail. Police have lodged cases against these men as well. A case has also been registered against 12 policemen including the SHO. On the other hand Quaid Pakistan Muslim League (N) Mian Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has constituted a four member disciplinary committee under the head of Senator Raja Zafar-ul-Haq to investigate escaping of PML-N MNA Anjum Aqeel Khan from Police custody. According to Nawaz Sharifs Political Secretary Asif Saeed Kirmani, the committee would comprise on Khurram Dastigir, Tariq Fazal Chaudhry and Nuzhat Amir Sadiq. The committee would complete its report within three days and would dispatch its report to Quaid PML-N. The Party leadership would decide the fate of Anjum Aqeel Khan after the investigation report.
