KAMALIA-Fesco Kamalia Division and Pirmahal Sub-division stood first in terms of recovery of outstanding dues and minimising line losses in Faisalabad Division. The employees of both the divisions would be rewarded with one and two month salary as bonus respectively.

According to official sources, Water and Power Secretary Younis Dhakka and Fesco Chief Executive Rashid Ahmed Aslam had set a target for recovery of outstanding dues and line losses in which Kamalia Division and Pirmahal Sub-division achieved the target and stood first in the entire Faisalabad division. Fesco Kamalia Xen Mehr Muhammad Afzal Kathia praised efforts made by SDO Ali Imran and workers to achieve the target. "Fesco workers ensured 115 percent recovery in June, more than the annual recovery of 102 percent, which is a great achievement," he pointed out.

WATER SUPPLY SCHEMES APPROVED: Parliamentary Secretary on Revenue Department Nazia Raheel said that water supply schemes, worth Rs260 million, have been approved for various villages of Kamalia.

Addressing an Eid-Milan Party hosted by a candidate for Chairman Municipal Committee Malik Muhammad Sharif, she informed that the villages include Jamal Pahar, 710/GB, 709/GB and 712/GB while a grant of Rs50 million has also been approved for rehabilitation of streets in Kamalia City.

Later, addressing the participants, the host showered MPA Nazia Raheel with praise for her keen interest in the development of backward areas and taking initiative to introduce new uplift projects in Kamalia City.
