SIALKOT/Toba Tek Singh/SARGODHA-Religious and political parties took out rallies and staged protests here on Friday against Indian army's mounting atrocities in Occupied Kashmir, and expressed solidarity with Kashmiris in their freedom struggle.

Addressing a largely attended press conference held at Sialkot Press Club, Jamaat-e-Islami Sialkot Ameer Sheikh Attiqur Rehmanand Jamaatud Dawa District Ameer Abdullah Ahmed expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed people of Kashmir.

They strongly condemned the mounting atrocities, large scale human rights violations, brutal killings and genocide of the innocent Kashmir people by the Occupant Indian army in Kashmir. They urged the world to use its complete influence to globally pressure India for the urgent peaceful solution to the burning Kashmir issue as per the aspirations of the people of the Held Valley.

They said that the plebiscite was the basic right of the Kashmiri people, adding that the sun of freedom of Kashmir will rise soon and the oppressed people of Occupied Jammu and Kashmir will soon get freedom from Indian yoke.

The participants unanimously passed several condemnation resolutions against the rising Indian atrocities. The hundreds of the people participated in an anti-India demonstrations and rallies taken out by the local religious and civil society organisations after Jumma Prayers in Sialkot, Daska, Sambrial, Pasrur and surrounding areas.

The people were carrying banners and placards. They also chanted anti-India slogans and expressed complete solidarity with the oppressed people. Meanwhile, funeral prayer in absentia for Shuhada-e-Kashmir was held at Sialkot by Jamaatud Dawa (JuD) and Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) in Sialkot city's congested Allama Iqbal Chowk.

In Toba Tek Singh, scores of PPP activists staged a demonstration on the call of PPP high command outside Press Club on Jhang Road against the Indian atrocities Held Kashmir.

In their speeches, the PPP leaders urged the international community especially the United Nations to take immediate note of the Indian brutality in Occupied Kashmir.

In Sargodha, rallies and protest demonstrations were observed against Indian atrocities and cruelness in occupied Kashmir and to expressed solidarity with oppressed Muslims of Kashmir. The funeral prayer in absentia was offered. Jamaatud Dawa, Jamaat-e- Islami, Jamiat Ulema Islam, People's Party and Muslim League-Nawaz managed protest rallies and observed protest demonstrations at the various part of the city.

On the occasion, the speakers said that innocent Muslims were being killed in Kashmir by the Indian authorities. They condemned brutality in Kashmir.
