ISLAMABAD (APP) - The Balochistan budget for the year 2011-12 with an expected outlay of around Rs 160 billion would be announced on June 21.Chief Secretary Balochistan Ahmad Bakhsh Lehri told APP that provincial Finance Minister Mir Asim Kurd would present the budget in the Balochistan Assembly. He said the areas of priority in the upcoming budget would include agriculture, livestock, communication, health, education, clean drinking water projects and other mega projects aiming at to improve the living conditions of the people of the province. The Chief Secretary said that the budget would be a balanced and people friendly in which efforts would be made to reduce burden on the public bedsides reducing the non-development expenditures to contain fiscal deficit of the province.
