LAHORE - Punjab Minister for Finance and Minorities Affairs, Kamran Michael has said that rowdyism of opposition during budget session in Punjab Assembly is lamentable and against the norms of democracy. In a press statement on Wednesday, he said that Punjab Assembly was the custodian of democratic values and traditions, which PML-N would not allow any one to violate. He said that PPP and PML-Q should play a positive role as opposition and refrain from negative and undemocratic tactics in the assembly. The minister claimed that rowdyism in Punjab Assembly was a proof of the fact that PPP and PML-Q were bereft of political and democratic values. He said that budget debate was very important business not only for members of Punjab Assembly but also for the people of the province, however opposition tried to ruin this process, which was condemnable.
