Wholesale prices of milk in Karachi have been increased again after which the shopkeepers have decided to close their shops from tomorrow for an indefinite period. This was announced by President Milk Retailers Association Hafiz Nisar while talking with Geo News. He told that the price of milk has been increased by Rs.4 per liter in the wholesale markets established in Bhains (Buffalo) Colony and Lea Market where as the city government is charging fines on shopkeepers for not selling the milk at the price of Rs.34 per liter. Hafiz Nisar said that due to this situation, milk shops all over the city would remain closed from tomorrow for an indefinite period.
