KARACHI - PIA has so far carried more than 18,000 Hajjis from Jeddah to Pakistan through 38 post-Haj and regular scheduled flights, here on Wednesday.

The spokesman said that PIA has operated 10 flights to Karachi carrying 3,700 Hajjis, 10 flights to Lahore carrying 4,500 Hajjis, 07 flights to Islamabad carrying 3,400 Hajjis, 05 flights to Peshawar carrying 1,700 Hajjis and 06 flights to Quetta bringing back 2,000 Hajjis respectively. He added that the congestion at Jeddah Haj terminal is easing out and PIA Haj flights are departing on time.

PIA officials deputed at Jeddah Haj terminal are in constant touch with Haj Ministry and Tours Operators for on time arrival of Hujjaj buses from Makkah.
