LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Sunday appealed his workers to donate money for expenses of the party’s anti-government protest in Islamabad.

Imran’s appeal came a day after he announced to extend the date of his party’s October 30 protest to November 2.

Sources said the PTI leadership has decided to change the date of October 30 anti-government protest in Islamabad to November 2, however, a formal announcement in this regard will be made later.

To press the ruling Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) government for investigation into Panama leaks, Imran had announced his plan to hold a massive protest sit-in in Islamabad.

Imran had called on his workers to lay siege to the federal capital until Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif resigns or presents himself for accountability for allegedly holding offshore assets.
