MIRPUR (AJK)-AJK Prime Minister Raja Farooq Haider Khan Saturday called on the international community to move up a gear for early implementation of the United Nations resolutions for settlement of the Kashmir issue without any further delay.

Farooq Haider vehemently condemned the atrocities being committed by the Indian forces in the occupied Kashmir.

Addressing the joint session of the AJK Parliament comprising AJK Council and the Legislative Assembly on Saturday, the Premier demand the world to ensure implementation of all its resolutions on Kashmir issue passed in the UN.

He condemned that Indian occupying forces have killed and injured many Kashmiri children, youth and elderly men and women since the martyrdom of young Kashmiri leader Burhanuddin Wani has breathed in new spirit into the Kashmir movement.

Farooq Haider said that Indian government has been guilty of stark violation of human rights and international statutes. The Indian government has failed in her nefarious attempts to suppress the rightful movement of the Kashmiris for freedom, he declared.

The AJK PM said that today this august house conveys this message to the world that the whole Pakistani nation is united on the Kashmir issue and stands beside the government.

This session also condemned the false Indian claims of surgical strike on the Pakistani soil due to which India had to cut a sorry figure before the international community as well as its own masses.

He said this Assembly Session unanimous in its appraisal that the cowardly Indian forces could not dare to undertake any surgical strike in the presence of brave Pakistani armed forces.

The AJK PM also condemned the unprovoked firing by the Indian forces at the Line of Control (LoC) and paid tribute to the Pak armed forces for a befitting reply to the enemy.

He said that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and an incomplete agenda of the partition of India, adding that the joint house reiterates to support the freedom movement of the Kashmiris in the Occupied Kashmir and demands to hold plebiscite in the occupied Kashmir as per the resolutions of the UN and immediately stop atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris.

Opposition leader in Legislative Assembly Ch Muhammad Yasin also addressed the session.
