KARACHI/ISLAMABAD – Haris Ali Khan with a superb knock of 113 helped Pakistan Steel Mills to get first innings lead over Sindh Police at the close of second day’s play in the fourth round match of Patron’s Trophy Grade II contest here at Quaid-e-Azam Park,Earlier Sindh Police made 342/6. Pakistan Steel posted 346 for seven with Umar Siddiq contributing second highest individual score of 97. At UBL Ground, Pakistan Navy were on top against Saudi Cricket International after its opponents collapsed to 142 in the second knock and set 115 runs victory target to the sailors. Navy were 42 without loss at stumps. Saudi Cricket International had scored 143 in the first innings and Pakistan Navy had replied with 171.In the third match of the contest in group A at RLCA ground, Pakistan Customs is playing Omar Associates. At Army ground Rawalpindi, Humak Engineering were bowled out for 298 in 71.3 overs in their first innings in a Group B match against Army. Yousaf Iqbal (95) Haseeb Afzal (74) played well. Shahid Khan grabbed 5/67 and Khadim Jan got 3-68. Earlier Army were bowled out on 151 runs in 56 overs during their first innings.  At Pindi Cricket Stadium, PTV had reached 91/4 against CDA in their second innings. Usman Saeed made unbeaten 76 runs. Earlier CDA were bowled out for 196 in 52 overs. Moid Ahmed made 39 and Naveed Malik 30. Yasim Murtaza and Nassar Ullah took three wickets each while Haseeb Azam got 2-48. At Diamond Ground, SSGC scored 54 runs for the loss of one wicket in their second innings in 14 overs. Earlier Medicam were bowled out on 263 in 63.2 overs. Salman Ali made 86 runs while Bilal Asif added 63 and Mukhtar Ahmed 43. Atif Maqbool clinched 4-72 and Sadaf Hussain 3-29.
