KARACHI - Three sack-packed bodies of youths were recovered from two different areas in the metropolis on Monday. In Allah Wala Town of Korangi, dead bodies of two youths were found near Fazal Kareem Hospital in the early hours of Monday. The bodies were wrapped in a bed sheet and packed in gunny bags. Unidentified miscreants threw the two bodies from a car and ran away, police officials said while adding that the victims received three bullets each. Doctors at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, where autopsies were carried out, said the both the victims had several torture marks.The bodies, which were sent to the Edhi Morgue for identification, were said to be of 18-year-old Hafiz Abdul Rehman, son of Abdul Ghafoor, and 20-year-old Hafiz Noor Hussain, son of Hussain Ahmed. According to SHO Malik Saleem, the two victims, who were cousins and lived in Korangi No 2, went missing on Sunday afternoon. Abdul Rehman’s mother, namely Noor Jahan, had lodged an application with the Zaman Town Police Station. The two victims used to work with a garments factory. The officer suspected that unidentified men might have kidnapped them, killed and then thrown their bodies in Allah Wala Town. He said the motive behind the dual murder was yet to be ascertained. According to the victims’ families, the two had a monetary row with someone, whose name was not disclosed. The victims hailed from Bangladesh. A case has been registered against the unidentified killers.Separately, a youth, 23-year-old Mohammad Subhan, son of Aslam, was recovered dead inside his rickshaw on Mir Mohammad Baloch Road in the limits of the Baghdadi Police Station. According to police officials, the victim was a Hazarawal and lived in Ali Mohammad Mohalla in Lyari. He was shot once on his head and twice in the chest. The officers said that the victim had affiliation with Lyari gangster Jabbar Jhengu, and suspected that they might have been killed by rivals. The body was shifted to the Civil Hospital Karachi for medico-legal formalities and later handed over to the heirs. Following the incident, tension gripped Ali Mohammad Mohalla, where a police contingent was deployed to avoid any unwanted happening.
