CONDOLEEZA Rice has made her modelling debut. The former secretary of state - a long-time Cleveland Browns fan - is one of the many new female faces of the NFL and its clothing.

Condleeza recently posed for the advertising campaign alongside powerful women from a diverse range of backgrounds, from Serena Williams to Melania Trump.

The “It’s My Team” campaign is intended to encourage women to get more involved in supporting their NFL teams. The NFL’s women’s apparel line includes clothing ranging from typical game-day t-shirts to more fashion-forward and even business casual items, such as team-spirited blazers.

“Forty-five percent of fans are female and that continues to grow,” said Tracey Bleczinski, vice president of NFL consumer products, according to                                          –SS

“We do have something for everyone, and this campaign aims to communicate that if you are living and wearing football, you can do it every day, year-round.”

Rice posed for the advertising campaign in a Browns jersey - specifically #16, which belongs to Joshua Cribbs. The replica jersey retails for $94.99 online.

Rice, who served as National Security Advisor and Secretary of State under President George W. Bush, has talked up her love of football in the past. There was even once speculation that she would replace Paul Tagliabue as NFL commissioner.

“I am prepared to answer any questions on Russia, the Middle East, advice for the draft, the zone blitz,” Rice said in addressing an NFL owners meeting in 2009. “And why no one should ever run a prevent defence.” Commissioner Roger Goodell then thanked her for being “busy three years ago when they selected a commissioner.”
