RAWALPINDI - Green Land XI beat Supreme Cricket Club by 64 runs to lift the inaugural NLC Ramazan Cricket Tournament 2012 played here at Race Course Cricket Ground Rawalpindi.

Put into bat first, Green Land XI scored a mammoth total of 169 runs in the allotted 10 overs. Tahir scored 51 runs. Qasim bowled well for Supreme Club and grabbed three wickets for 46 runs. In reply, Supreme Cricket Club were all out on 106 runs as Omer made 24 runs.  Lt Gen Sajjad Ghani, Quarter Master General, was the chief guest in the final match while Director General National Logistics Cell Major General Junaid Rehmat and chief organiser of the tournament Brig (retd) Masood Akhtar was also present on the occasion. The chief guest gave away winning trophy and cash prize of Rs 100,000 to Green Land XI team while the runners-up Supreme Cricket Club received cash prize of Rs 50,000.

Tahir was named man of the match and get Rs 15,000 and Rao Imran was declared man of the series and given Rs 30,000.
